Whittier Hope Collective is the only established and licensed non-profit medical cannabis collective under the Whittier City Ordinance 2870. Over the course of 18 months, the City of Whittier, Whittier Planning Commission, the Whittier Police Department, and all of us here at Whittier Hope Collective have worked very closely and with the most comprehensive and compassionate sense of California's medical marijuana laws. The result is our secure, regulated, and professional cannabis collective for the qualified patient community of the City of Whittier and the Greater Whittier Area.

Our doors opened in late July 2010 and was covered by the Whittier Daily News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, and the Pasadena Star-News. We are also proud members of the Whittier Area Chamber of Commerce. Since our opening, we have welcomed many new members to the collective and enjoy servicing their cannabis needs.

Whittier Hope Collective is a grand example of what regulation and proper law implementation can achieve. We look forward to furthering our influence in the medical cannabis patient community and building a strong relationship with all local governing bodies. Whittier Hope Collective is fully engaged in the effort to provide our patients with safe and sensible access to their medical cannabis.

It is our mission to provide our patient members with the proper regulated and secure facilities along with the full endorsement and protection of local governments and law enforcement. We believe in the positive influence and amazing capabilities of medical cannabis. We understand that working closely together with the right leadership can really impact our industry's course. It is of the upmost importance that we continue to maintain a clear and level understanding of the patient community so we may work with local goverments to comprehensively advance our legal protections and regulations.
